Moto Morini X-Cape 700: a middleweight adventure bike that does it all

The X-Cape 700 is Morini's middleweight adventure bike, and for 2026 it gets a bigger 693cc engine, more power and more equipment. Heated grips, a heated seat, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring and a forward-facing dash cam all come as standard.

We took one off-road in the Pyrenees this year. It's comfortable on the road and properly capable on gravel and trails, and it's very good value.

Engine

The 693cc DOHC parallel twin makes 71hp at 8,500rpm and 68Nm at 6,500rpm, with a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. It's Euro 5+ compliant.

Chassis and equipment

Fully adjustable 50mm Marzocchi upside-down forks give 175mm of travel, with a KYB rear shock with remote preload adjustment. It runs 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoked wheels on Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres, with Brembo brakes and switchable Bosch ABS. The 7-inch TFT has navigation through the app, the screen adjusts and the handlebar has three positions.

Is the Moto Morini X-Cape 700 right for me?

If you want one bike for commuting, touring and green lanes, with a seat height most riders can manage, the X-Cape 700 is the sweet spot of the Morini range. For bigger miles two-up, look at the X-Cape 1200, and for lighter off-road riding, look at the AlltrHike.

How much is the Moto Morini X-Cape 700 in the UK?

The Moto Morini X-Cape 700 is £6,699 plus on-the-road costs, which cover first registration, number plates and 12 months' road tax. Every new Moto Morini comes with a 3-year unlimited-mileage warranty. Finance is available, subject to status, and we're happy to value your part exchange.

Can I test ride the Moto Morini X-Cape 700?

Yes. Call us on 01795 899204 or send us an enquiry and we'll arrange a time at our showroom in Sittingbourne. We're the official Moto Morini dealer for Kent.

Why buy your Moto Morini from us?

We ride what we sell. This year we've toured Belgium and Luxembourg on the X-Cape 1200, taken the X-Cape 700 and AlltrHike off-road in the Pyrenees, and run club rides across the UK and Europe. That experience shapes how we set bikes up, how we advise you, and how we look after you once you're out riding. Every bike we sell is prepared, serviced and supported by our own workshop in Sittingbourne.
